Anzhelika Nikolayevna Volkova (Russian: Анжелика Николаевна Волкова) was born in Krasnodar, Krasnodar Krai, USSR. Angel is a single daughter of the Russian Air Force Colonel Nikolay Igorevich Volkov and the QARANC Nurse Sergeant Alice Morland Volkova.

 

Her mother Alice Morland Volkova went back to London, England, when Angel was 5 years old. She has graduated in English and Russian Literature and received an M.A. in Eastern European Studies from the University of Oxford. Thanks to her abilities and knowledge of Eastern and Central European languages, the British Intelligence recruited her for reconnaissance and special operations in foreign countries after a period of training.

Working with the British Director of Intelligence - Special Operations Division codenamed ALPHA, Agent BLUE ANGEL (Section 06 ID: 095-18-94) performed several covert and reconnaissance operations in Eastern and Central Europe, as well as SIGINT Short Wave decoding. With the Hyperon crisis, Angel was an active asset to gather information regarding Tharelian invasion.

Angel is fluent in English, Russian, German, Czech, Ukrainian, Latvian and Romanian languages. She is also a qualified markswoman, achieving a score of 98% in the Personal Weapons Test of the British Armed Forces.
