Thar Tegthar

Thar Tegthar (2924 - 3006 a.T.), PhD, was a Nopah physicist, member of the Nopah Center of Theoretical Physics and a prominent developer of The Hyperon Project.

Born in Nopah on the 5th. day of the 10th. month, 2924 a.T. and raised by a Norlah Church devotee family, Thar Tegthar studied Physics at the University of Yontah. His Doctorate thesis discoursed about the geometrical aspects of the Multiverse. He helped to organize Universes in four categories (the "Tegthar types", as they are known today) and created the basis for Universe-teleportation.

Professor Tegthar was subsequently contacted by high officials from Nopah and Surnah governments to develop a blueprint of The Hyperon Project -- in his own words, "the biggest achievement of the Tharelian civilisation" [citation needed].

Erlah non-governmental organizations and historians accused Professor Tegthar of using prisoners from the terrorist group The Flock as "guinea pigs" for teleportation experiments, most of them with fatal consequences. He denied the accusation, claiming that the prisoners presented themselves as "volunteers" for a reduced sentence.

Professor Tegthar was laureated with the Thar Prize for the Advancement of the Sciences on 2972 a.T. for his work on the teleportation theory. He worked on the development of Multiverse teleportation systems until his death, on the 1st. day of the 2nd. month, 3006 a.T., at the age of 81.
